OUR HOME IS YOURS... MEMORABLE AND COMFORTABLE

The Carvelli family, share a cherished memory from their childhoods in Mesoraca, Italy, when the entire family and friends sat at the table to share meals and conversation. Brothers Luigi, Sal, and Francesco, with cousins Adamo and Francesco, recreated the same atmosphere of warmth combined with great food and hospitality when they opened the first DaVinci’s restaurant on Marco Island in 1996. Recognized as one of the area’s finest dining experiences, guests credit DaVinci’s popularity to outstanding service, authentic preparations, and the freshest ingredients. The Carvelli family demands the freshest ingredients for every recipe including only fresh pasta made daily.

MEET OUR STAFF

CHEF GIOVANNI TERRAGLIA

Chef Giovanni Terraglia is the driving force behind DaVinci restaurant. Born in North New Jersey from Italian parents he realized at an early age he wanted to follow his Grandfather and Father love of Culinary Art. Growing up and living in Avellino, Italy Giovanni realized his passion was food. After completing his education he returned to the States to work in his Father Family owned fine dining restaurant that was in business for 20 years where he got his experience working next to high qualified chefs. With over 38 years experience in the industry Giovanni has maintained a level of excellence that wold make Escoffier proud. In 1998 he opened up his own Restaurant in down town Naples Le Caffè Des Artist upon opening he received four stars from LG Gordon. After selling his restaurant he decided to take the position of Executive Chef of DaVinci Restaurant he has been with the Family 15 years with his strong back round specializing in Italian and French Cuisine he brings to DaVinci the finest Heart Healthy Mediterranean Dishes.

ADAMO SERRAVALLE, co-owner and general manager

Adamo Serravalle is a restaurateur, wine director and a writer. Born and raised in south Italy, he came to New York at the age 19 to work for his uncle, who owned famous Italian restaurant in Manhattan. After moving to Florida and graduating Hodges University top of his class, Adamo became general manager and a partner of Davinci’s restaurant in 2006. Adamo has a genuine love for the food & beverage industry and its fueled by his passion for wine. Adamo is an author of the Wine Spectacular awarded wine lists and a regular contributor to the Food and Wine column at Sun Times newspaper.
